As we outlined in our January 2020 refurbishments post, Splash Mountain is now closed at Magic Kingdom for just under two months for refurbishment. This is pretty typical this time of year as temperatures are colder and attendance for the flume water ride would be lower anyway. While we don’t know specifically what Disney will be doing during the refurbishment, general maintenance and repair seems to be the consensus.
Splash Mountain is current scheduled to reopen to guests on February 28th.
