As more cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) become known around Florida and the United States as a whole, guests who are looking to take steps to avoid the virus while at The Most Magical Place On Earth have a few options.
First, we’ll note that Disney is taking steps to ensure that there are plenty of opportunities for guests to wash their hands and get hand sanitizer while at the parks. From Main Street USA to Fantasyland, Disney has installed hand washing stations at the Walt Disney World theme parks to allow guests to wash their hands while on the go.
In addition to hand washing stations, Disney has set out extra hand sanitizer stations at park entrances and in the resorts. We visit the parks often and have always found these hand sanitizer dispensers to be very well stocked and never empty.

Finally, we wanted to put out where we’ve found hand sanitizer for purchase around Walt Disney World. If you’re unable to visit the exact locations we’ve visited, asking a Cast Member where you can purchase “commodities” will likely point you in the right direction. Theme parks should have a larger stock than resorts, but you can always try both. We’ve had no luck at the resorts that we’ve visited over the past few days. Disney is working hard to keep hand sanitizer in stock, but guests are purchasing in quantities that they wouldn’t otherwise purchase at over the past few weeks.
Today, we’ve seen stock of hand sanitizer at Big Al’s shop in Frontierland, as well as the Newsstand and Locker Rental shops at the front of Magic Kingdom. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we found some at Mickey’s of Hollywood behind the counter after inquiring at the register. A 3oz bottle sells for $1.79.
