Today we made it out to Epcot to check out the progress that has been made on the Royal Sommerhus and Frozen Ever After areas within the Norway pavilion.
One thing of note is that the bathrooms are now completely walled off until the ride opens this Spring.
Progress on the Royal Sommerhus buildings looks to be coming along nicely.
The old entrance to Maelstrom is completely walled off with a scrim up.
Why this matters
While there was a very vocal disapproval of changing out Maelstrom for a Frozen-themed ride, there is no doubt that a ride and meet and greet area like this will take the strain off of wait times at Soarin’ and Test Track.
Just test track now, so that line will insane until the new frozen ride opens . Soarin is down now for refurb till the summer i believe.
I think the official name is “Royal Sommerhus” (not haus) (sommerhus in Norwegian means summer-cottage). Love Your updates, thanx!
