With news of the gondola system and rumored autonomous shuttles coming to Walt Disney World, there is now a new job posting adding fuel to these rumors. Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) is looking for a Transportation Master Planner.
There is a massive road improvement project currently underway that includes a new entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a Magic Kingdom tollbooth/resort flyover, and a new parking garage at Disney Springs.
The addition of a Master Planner definitely suggests that even larger improvements are coming and that Disney is taking transportation at the resort very seriously.
