When walking through Magic Kingdom on Monday, we decided to check out the Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe exterior refurbishment progress. Work has been ongoing for months now as Disney adds more seating capacity.
The final walls remaining envelop the section of the building where Sonny Eclipse plays. His sets remain undisturbed though as he continues to bring you some of the best tunes from across the cosmos. This is the view from the Tomorrowland Speedway side of the building.
Here’s a view from near Mad Tea Party, with the walkway back to the Hub on the right.
This section of the exterior is completely refurbished as walls came down recently to unveil more seating capacity.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of Summer, which seems to be approaching rather quickly.
Who patched those ceiling downlights though! Ugh.
