PHOTOS: Disney Springs Third Parking Garage Construction (September 2017)

With the popularity of Disney Springs on the uptick, and new offerings on the way, Disney is building a third parking garage. The $58 million project is roughly 5 months along, with the lake that used to occupy the space now filled in. We took to the skies recently to document the progress.

First, a look back at the construction site in July of this year.

Now for a more recent look.

As you can see, the lake is now filled in, with a very large amount of dirt left over. A reverse angle of the above photo shows Interstate 4 on the right, the Disney Springs Speedway gas station in the lower center, and Buena Vista Drive to the left. Also visible is the Walt Disney World Casting Center, just past the pile of dirt. The Lime Parking garage is on the extreme left of the below photo.

The new garage will have room for 3000 parking spaces and will call for a new pedestrian bridge for accessing Disney Springs.
