Permits Reveal Phase One Plans for Flamingo Crossings; Four New Hotels and Parking Garage

Permits filed with the state have revealed the massive scope of the first phase development of Flamingo Crossings.

Flamingo Crossings is the Disney-owned expansion taking place just west of Walt Disney World, and will include seven hotels, 237,000 square feet of retail space, and almost 1,300 apartments when completed. The development plans call for three phases, with the first phase set to start this year and detailed below.

The plot of land in question is set to the west of the existing Flamingo Crossings hotels.

A closer look at the permits and the hotels expected reveals that there will be a Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, Homewood Suites, and Home2 Suites.

In addition to the four hotels, there will be a parking garage as well as surface parking lots. The parking garage (teal) appears to be connecting to, or close to, the Homewood Suites (yellow) in the image below.

Construction is set to begin this year.
