Those looking to enhance their beignet experience have some new booze-filled options at Port Orleans Resort.
Baton Rouge Beignets – $8.00
Guests can choose from one of three booze infusions – Bailey’s, Kahlúa, or Rumchata. Originally, Scat Cat’s didn’t serve the mixed flavor option. But thanks to our recommendation, you can now order one of each in a single order! Shout out to Lalonda for passing along the suggestion. The alcohol comes in pipettes, allowing you to infuse as little (or as much) alcohol as you’d like!
Thanks to the pipettes, your beignet stays structured instead of soaking up the liquid and becoming soggy by the time it’s served to you. Not only is it a smart delivery, but it’s a lot of fun too!
As far as flavor is concerned, we liked the Rumchata the most, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the choices. Each pipette contains a half ounce of alcohol, bringing the total amount of alcohol served to 1.5 ounces, requiring Cast to check that you’re of age.
Each of the beignets come with a generous portion of powdered sugar on top, making this a perfect adult dessert.
