After months of tater tots as your only culinary option at The Friar’s Nook, mac and cheese is back on the menu!
Creamy Bacon Mac & Cheese Tots – $10.99
First up is the Creamy Bacon Mac & Cheese. This is probably the dish that most guests will gravitate to when choosing their lunches. We found the mac and cheese to be nice and creamy in both dishes. The bacon bits had a nice crunch to them and worked well with mac and cheese. A dollop of sour cream is placed on top and it adds a unique and enjoyable flavor to the already good mac and cheese.
Fiesta Mac and Cheese – $10.49
These are perhaps the more exotic of the options. That said, they were the better offering and we can definitely recommend them! A combination of traditional taco flavors and elements were fresh and hot. Again, the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. We recommend these over the creamy bacon for a much more robust flavor profile. We were apprehensive at first, but would definitely order these again.
