A day after we spotted all of the character gondolas uncovered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, another milestone has been reached for the project. Testing is now underway for the Epcot International Gateway to Riviera Resort line. This line takes guests from Epcot to the new DVC property, passing by Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and through the Boardwalk parking lot before turning towards Rivera. We made it out to the parks and resorts today to capture photos and video of the testing!
We’ll start at the Epcot station, with the Disney Skyliner gondola cabins soaring over the walkway from the Crescent Lake Resorts.
As they leave the station over the Friendships launch, they pass by Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
The gondolas continue on through the Boardwalk parking lot to a turn station where guests will not disembark. There will be no Boardwalk station to load or unload in.
After the gondolas go through the turn station, they continue to the load and unload station at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
