‘Mission: Space Race’ Interactive Post Show Game Under Refurbishment at Misson: SPACE in Epcot

In what might be one of the most “quiet” refurbishments we’ve seen of this scale this year, Mission: Space Race in the Advanced Training Lab post show for Mission: SPACE is under refurbishment.

As you can see in the photo below, two rows of consoles have been removed. Cast Members have indicated to us that this is is a refurbishment, and not a closure. They weren’t sure when the refurbishment will end, and Disney hasn’t released info related to this work. With the Space Restaurant set to open later this year, and the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster moving in nearby in the next two years, Future World east will be getting an influx of guests beyond the one-and-done Test Track riders. We hope to see an improved version of this interactive game and not just more seating.

Keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to follow the refurbishment and so much more from around the Disney Parks.
