Sneak Peek at ‘Enchanted Rose’ Beauty and the Beast Bar and Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Work on the new Beauty and the Beast bar called the Enchanted Rose appears to be coming to an end soon. While visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort last night, we noticed that all of the tarps that have been hiding the work from guests have been removed! We took a stroll around the resort to give you the best possible sneak peek at the reimagined space. Here’s a full breakdown of what we were able to see.

We’ll start with what is easily visible to each and every guest visiting the resort, and that’s a set of furniture that sits where the Grand Floridian Orchestra use to play on the second floor. This all-but-confirms that they will not be returning to their second floor position when the work is done. So where will they move to? We’ll talk about that in a bit.

So where will the Grand Floridian Orchestra move to? Rumors are circulating that they will be moving to this seldomly used space on the immediate left side of the lobby as you enter the doors. We haven’t been able to verify if this is where they will be moving to or not.

Back to the Enchanted Rose, we’ll take a peek at the space that was formerly known as Mizner’s Lounge. This space looks to be largely untouched, with the exception of some new paint and all-new furniture. As you can see, the theme of blue and gold will be prevalent, as the space is themed off of the live action Beauty and the Beast film.

Here’s a look at the second floor space from outside.

It looks like the lounge will have TVs on either side of the space.

Here’s a view of the space from right (near) to left (far).

Here’s a look back at Mizner’s Lounge before work began.

Here’s a look at the featured chandelier that we see in the concept art below.

A quick look back at Commander Porters, the space that is represented in the concept art above.

    Back to the sneak peek.

Here’s a look at some of the detailing on the walls.

Finally, here’s a look at what might turn out to be the most interesting portion of the whole project…and we can’t even see anything! This is a look at the portion of the work that is closest to the elevator. We can see that walls have been added to enclose this area, which will be “a garden room [that] will take its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding the castle”. By enclosing this area, Disney has an opportunity to do something cool here, but it remains to be seen how far they take the concept of the garden room.
