Magic Kingdom Entertainment Cancellations and Impacts Due to Holiday Taping on November 9th and 10th

As you might be aware, Disney is taping its Disney Parks holiday special at Walt Disney World from November 7th – 10th. We’ve already outlined some operational impacts to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 7th, and have some more information about what impacts there will be at Magic Kingdom.

Here are the cancellations and operational impacts at Magic Kingdom on both November 9th and 10th due to the taping happening at the park.

  • Let the Magic Begin Welcome Show will be audio only, no pyrotechnics
  • Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire has been canceled
  • A Frozen Holiday Wish has been canceled
  • Once Upon a Time has been canceled
  • Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party has been canceled

It’s worth noting that based on filming and production schedules, there is a possibility that the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party could take place, but showtimes have been removed from the website completely as a precaution.
