Disney has just announced that Cinderella Castle will be getting an updated look as part of the 70th Anniversary of the animated classic. Disney released the concept art below, which features darker blue turrets and more golden enhancements.
Work is slated to begin in the next few weeks and should continue through Summer 2020. Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire and Happily Ever After will be unaffected by the work.
Ugh, if that is the concept art I do not like it. Cinderella’s castle should not be two-toned and pink! It will look nothing like the movie castle anymore…
As long as it not a Pepto Bismol pink birthday cake! I still suffer nightmares over that cake. LOL
