Cinderella Castle to Remain Uncovered During Royal Makeover to “Rose-Pink”

While many guests are excited for the changes coming to Cinderella Castle, many more were worried about the appearance of the castle during the work set to begin soon. As you might know if you follow any number of Disney Parks construction projects, Disney oftentimes will use a scrim, or tarp to cover the affected structure.

The great fear from guests voicing concern over the project was that Cinderella Castle would end up covered in scrims as Imagineers painted it “rose-pink” and added the gold enhancements.

Magic Kingdom Vice President Jason Kirk took to the Disney Parks blog to clarify that Cinderella Castle will remain uncovered during the royal makeover and that while guests might see construction equipment during the process, Disney will work hard to ensure that Cinderella Castle remains as photogenic as ever.
