According to sources, a Jungle Cruise boat has sunk at Walt Disney World. We’re told that there were guests on board, and that water did enter the boat after it sunk in shallow water. According to a Reedy Creek spokesperson, via the Orlando Sentinel, there are no injuries.
After we broke the news, photos started popping up on social media of the incident. Here’s a look at the boat as it began to sink.
Twitter user @synewaves actually posted a photo from inside of the boat.
Video surfaced of guests evacuating the boat.
The incident happened around 12:30pm and the attraction reopened shortly before 2pm, according to the My Disney Experience app.
And now… the underside of water!
You jump I jump.
Did Leo survive? Music…. my heart will go on…
Probably driven by a cast member that used to work on 20,000 Leagues and he forgot which ride was was on an accidentally hit the “dive” button
Too bad the whole ride didn’t sink
I hope the CRAB aka Michael is okay. Best boat captain ever!!
The last thing heard before it sunk was a passenger asking, “ What does this button do?”
Florida will start having everyone wear PFDs soon!
