Hollywood Studios Brown Derby Had a Kitchen Gas Leak During Park Closure

|

According to a permit filed with the state of Florida, the Hollywood Brown Derby experienced a gas leak in the kitchen. The permit lists the Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant as the address where the work took place and listed “Kitchen Gas leak repair” as the work description. Westbrook Service, a commercial HVAC, plumbing, gas, and electric company, was hired to do the repair.

Even with the theme parks closed, Disney has a few Cast Members in the parks to make sure everything looks ok. From what we understand, there are no attractions running and the amount of Cast Members in the parks is the bare minimum to keep them secure.

As of publish time, the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts remain closed indefinitely, but Disney doesn’t anticipate the closure lasting more than 6 months. Reservations are still available starting June 1st.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest Disney Parks news and photos. We’ll continue to bring you news and photos, where possible, through the Disney Parks closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will resume our normal coverage once the parks reopen to guests on July 11th!
