Disney World Won’t Offer 7-Day or 14-Day Tickets During 50th Anniversary Celebrations in 2021

Disney has told UK Travel Agents that they will not offer 7-day or 14-day tickets past September 13, 2021 as they plan the 50th Anniversary celebrations for the Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Holidays website has been recently updated to reflect the change, halting sales on September 13, 2021 to ensure that there are no 7-day or 14-day ticket types at the resort by September 27, 2021, the end of Disney’s fiscal year next year.

The change comes during a time of unprecedented uncertainty as to what a Walt Disney World vacation will look like. In addition to the discontinuation of the ticket types, Disney has told some international travel agents that they intend on utilizing the theme park reservation system through 2021, but they have not made any public statements about the reservation system yet.

Disney has not announced when the 50th Anniversary celebration for the Walt Disney World Resort will begin, as plans are undoubtedly quite fluid during a global pandemic.
