Good afternoon from EPCOT! While walking into the park, we noticed that there is a bit of new construction taking place at the entrance fountain – which is the final piece of the entrance overhaul project. As you may know, Disney is once again reimagining the EPCOT entrance fountain. This time, the new look for the fountain will pay homage to the original look for the fountain. Here’s a look at the concept art Disney released.
Here’s a closer look at the fountain itself.
In our photos today, you can see that Disney has set up a brace of sorts that will likely hold the pillars in place as they set after installation. When the fountain is finished, this brace won’t be there. Of course, we have yet to see the actual arrival of the fountain pillars, but hope to see some movement on that front soon!
