Disney World has extended the Disney Park Pass reservation system beyond the initial September 2021 date, now including dates through January 14, 2022.
This move seems to align with our reporting that Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro said that the theme park reservation system was “here to stay”.
Of course, once capacity limitations are raised beyond the current 25% capacity caps, there may be fewer days in which the reservations are unavailable for a theme park.

They might as well just get rid of Annual Passes. And then they can just sell a dated ticket vs this extra Park Pass reservation crap. Not to mention Park Hopper demise.
Disney will “limit” themselves to death and one day be stuck with huge parks that people won’t want to come to anymore. Their self inflicted damaging of their own cash cows will be their undoing.
Why should I continue to be an annual passholder at this point? No benefit to it.
I just paid for the Park Hopper option for dates in early January. How is that going to work with the Park Pass System?
Thanks!
Just have to take your chances, book your required day and take a chance you can hop to another park if they are not full, shambles really, just trying to get as much cash in as possible, no care of what bearing it will have on a relaxing holiday, best wait till 2024 as reservation system is in place until 2023..!
