Water Flowing at EPCOT Entrance Fountain Ahead of 2020 Reveal

Water is now running down the EPCOT entrance fountain as the project reaches its end. The project began 19 months ago when the first walls were erected around the western Leave a Legacy section of the EPCOT entrance. Since then, the monoliths have been demolished and a greener, more natural entrance has taken its place. The final step of the in-park project is the feature fountain at the base of Spaceship Earth. Outside of the theme park, Disney will eventually find a place for the Leave a Legacy photo plaques, but hasn’t constructed the promised location just yet.

Now, water is flowing down the refreshed fountain and the project reveal appears to be imminent. Here’s a look at the fountain from earlier today.

Here’s a look back at the old fountain on the day that work began in May 2019.

It looks like there might still be some outstanding work left at the base of the fountain, but Disney has promised a 2020 reveal for the project.
