It’s a new era at EPCOT, with the Vice President of the park declaring that the EPCOT Overhaul project was completed earlier this month. Today, we noticed another change in the EPCOT main entrance plaza with the removal of the old Fountain of Nations photo backdrop.
First, here’s a look back at the old backdrop. The backdrop featured the long-since-demolished Fountain of Nations, the monorail, and Spaceship Earth in a futuristic scene.
And here’s a look at the new backdrop. The new backdrop still features the monorail and Spaceship Earth, but changes the vantage point to the front of the iconic building, featuring the monoliths in the fountain at the foot of the building. The new backdrop also features the updated Points of Light on Spaceship Earth. Here’s the new backdrop!
