Gorilla Still Missing from Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom

As we continue to keep a close eye on the Jungle Cruise ahead of a reimagining, we noticed a figure is still missing from one of the early scenes in the attraction.

As you can see below, the ever-fashionable lead gorilla in the camp is missing.

Here’s a look back at what the scene should look like – with the gorilla checking his appearance in the mirror on the left side of the tent.

During the Jingle Cruise holiday overlay, our friend here really goes all out!

The gorilla has been missing since sometime in February, but its unlikely that it is associated with the reimagining. Disney has previously said that the rhino scene that we took a detailed look at earlier is the kicking off point for the rewrite. Hopefully he’s just off looking for a new hat!
