Back in July 2020, BlogMickey.com learned that the project had been postponed indefinitely, and that’s pretty much the same status for the project now in April 2021.

Cara Yaffe, Divisional Director of Marketing & Communications for Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, said that “the Beatrix project in Disney Springs has not been canceled”. Yaffe noted that Disney and Beatrix agreed to delay the start of construction on the project as a result of the pandemic, and that a restart date has not been determined.

That said, there is some work taking place on the site to return the construction site to a green space until the project is restarted at a later date. Yaffe said that they’re excited to open at Disney Springs in the future and will share updates as decisions to restart are made.
