Disney World Removes Hand Washing Stations

Walt Disney World is in the process of removing hand washing stations from their theme parks. The hand washing stations were one of the first safety measures implemented back in March 2020 – before the theme parks closed for the COVID-19 pandemic. Disney recently relaxed their face mask rules as well.

BlogMickey.com spoke with multiple managers who confirmed the change and said that most of the hand washing stations should be removed now or will be very shortly.

Hand sanitizer stations remain in place around the parks and managers said that there are no current plans to remove the hand sanitizers at this time. Guests are always able to use restrooms to wash their hands as well.

Signage still remains in place around the theme parks reminding guests to wash their hands often.
