A recent public health advisory from the Florida Surgeon General goes further than recent federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines as it relates to fully vaccinated individuals. In the public health advisory, Dr. Scott Rivkees says that fully vaccinated individuals don’t have to wear a mask anywhere.
Rivkees says that Florida has more than enough vaccine supply to not only vaccinate all adults in the state, but has also expanded vaccination eligibility to out-of-state individuals as well.
The advisory from Rivkees is just the latest in a string of advisories and relaxed guidance from local and state health officials. Previously, Orange County health officials have said that physical distancing can be reduced from 6ft to 3ft.
Disney World has not announced any changes to physical distancing or masking policies. Fully vaccinated individuals are still required to wear face coverings at Walt Disney World Resort.
