Disney World has notified area communities of planned after hours fireworks launches tonight, August 30th and Wednesday, September 1st. While the text of the notification says that they’re “trying out some new fireworks in short bursts”, sources indicated to BlogMickey.com that the launches are not directly related to any testing for Disney Enchantment. In fact, we captured some projection testing on Cinderella Castle as part of rehearsals for the taping.
Instead, the fireworks will be used in conjunction with a taping of “The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World” special. Christina Aguilera and Halle Bailey are expected to perform in front of Cinderella Castle during the after hours taping.
