Walt Disney World Trains Refurbished During Closure, First Look at Walter E. Disney

During the Destination D23 event, a panel about transportation gave guests a first look at a refurbished Walter E. Disney engine.

The Planes, Trains, and Monorails: Walt Disney World on the Move panel did not give a timeframe for the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad system, but said that there are upgrades being made to the system during the downtime required for the TRON Lightcycle Run construction.
