What We Know About the Closure

The timing falls in the middle of an already reduced operating schedule. Walt Disney World began operating the attraction in shuttle mode on July 7th, 2025, to accommodate construction in the northwest corner of Magic Kingdom. The railroad has not run its full route since. This new closure does not extend or modify that shuttle mode offering. It simply removes the train from service completely for weeks. We think it’s very likely that the train will resume shuttle mode when it returns.
