Every Single Date on the Disney Park Pass Calendar is Available for All Four Disney World Theme Parks

There isn’t a single sold-out date on the Disney Park Pass calendar for regular ticket holders, resort guests, or Annual Passholders through January 2024, according to Disney World.

The wide-open availability doesn’t necessarily indicate low crowds though like it did in Summer 2020.

Instead, this wide-open availability demonstrates how Disney has worked back to full capacity and Disney’s instance on using the calendar represents their vision for the future.

Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro was the first Disney executive to say that the Disney Park Pass system was “here to stay”, and since then, Disney has praised the new tech that sprung from the COVID-19 restrictions.

Last September, Disney CEO Bob Chapek called the Disney Park Pass system the “backbone” of the future of technology at the theme parks. Let’s be clear, the Disney Park Pass system used to be a wonderful tool during the COVID-19 reopenings to manage attendance and crowd levels. Now, the Disney Park Pass system no longer manages attendance but is rather a yield management tool.

    1. I absolutely detest the park reservation system. It is a system designed and maintained solely to benefit Disney World. That, along with no park hopping until 2 pm, do NOTHING to enhance the guest experience. It totally complicates planning a visit, making dinner reservations, and the ability to make last minute changes to your itinerary. Ugh. No one can convince me that it makes the experience better for the customer.

      • You are so right I agree with you we have changed our itinerary twice already took about an hour to sort out. I hate it yuk yuk yuk

      • The reason you can not be convinced that it makes the experience for the customer better is because it doesn’t! It’s horrid. Disney has forgotten what a vacation is supposed to be. They know they have the hard core fans hooked and can do whatever they want and they will get there money. Basically Disney is adopting the business model of a drug dealer. But at least it is good for the shareholders. Oh wait, stock is in the toilet too.

        • I thought Walt (and Roy) Disney created Disney Land so kids could afford going to amusement park! I haven’t been back to Disney property since 2008 after the price tag for 2 day ticket cost more than what we paid for Disney world in early 90’s!
We were going to go to Disneyland as family gathering but backed out due to park Hopping cancelled AND tram stopped running from parking lot, only a extra mile walk! So Disney lost 35 people ever attending their parks until they got heads out of their back$ide$!

    2. Couldn’t agree more! My family hasn’t been back since the pandemic and have no plans to. We do NOT want nor need to micromanage our vacations. Some planning yes but not to the point where I have to be up before 7 am to plan a park ride. Thanks but that’s our breakfast time. If I have a park pass, that should be my park reservation. Putting restraints on hopping, not worth the cost. The list is endless. Thanks but no thanks Disney!

    3. The one change they could make with this system to make it somewhat beneficial is give you a general idea of how busy each park would be when you’re making a reservation. I don’t mean exact numbers but a general Red/Yellow/Green rating indicating Busier than Usual, About Normal, Less Busy than Usual rating. That way you’re not stuck at a park with way higher than average demand like we’ve seen the last few weeks and not able to park hop somewhere else until 2pm.

    4. Disney will never get my money again. We came during “down” time during the year and had to wear masks inside. We weren’t even allowed to take them down for one second for a picture with characters. However they packed people into they park like sardines. There is no common sense in that decision. I paid extra for the photo pass and genie system. The park lacked photographers and the genie system was a waste of money. I’ve never been more disappointed in a Disney park. For a place who prides themselves on customer service, do better.

    5. I love the park pass system. Knowing what day and park I’m going to for that day, or the park hopper ticket which I used both days of my recent trip.
