Guest Spending Up More Than 40% Over Pre-Pandemic Numbers at Disney Theme Parks

In an investor call this afternoon, Disney CEO Bob Chapek praised the Disney Parks division of the company, which hauled in $1.8 billion in income in fiscal Q2 2022.

In a release to investors, Disney praised a favorable guest mix and per guest spending for the strong results at its theme parks. Chapek went on to say that per capita spending is up more than 40% over 2019. Guest spending was up more than 20% over 2021 figures.
