On Monday, July 18th, photos started to circulate on social media showing the Jungle Cruise river turning pink at Disneyland. The photo below, shared by Fresh Baked, showed the river turning a striking pink color. Many guests were wondering why did the Jungle Cruise river turn pink at Disneyland? As it turns out, Disneyland officials said that it was part of a water treatment process (via OC Register). It’s unclear why the treatment took place during park operating hours.

The Jungle Cruise was closed for a few hours as the water treatment took place and has reopened to guests.
