New Color Scheme Debuts on Recently Repainted Friendship Boat at Disney World

One of the Friendship boats that transports guests on the waterways connecting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and many of the area resorts has a new color scheme after being repainted recently. Here’s a look back at the old color scheme, which is what many of the boats still have.

And here’s a look at the new color scheme, which is less whimsical and features blocks of color with a red cabin and roof, a blue topper, and a blue side stripe. Previously, Friendship III had red and white stripes on the roof against a blue color scheme around the cabin windows.

It’s likely that the other boats will be cycled out of service to receive the new paint scheme as well in the coming weeks and months. They will likely retain whatever block of color they feature now on the current stripe pattern (purple, blue, etc).
