Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro has just shared that the Hatbox Ghost will come to The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom in 2023. The Hatbox Ghost is a fan-favorite in Disneyland where he appeared for a short time around the opening of this classic attraction in 1969. Although brief, his presence sparked a decades-long following, and this reclusive resident of the Haunted Mansion was never forgotten.
In May 2015, the Hatbox Ghost returned to Disneyland with updated magic. In the Disneyland version of the attraction, the Hatbox Ghost can be found as guests exit the attic scene. Exact details about the location and arrival date of the Hatbox Ghost to Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion were not immediately available.
