Walt Disney World Railroad Testing Continues & A Look at TRON Tunnel Passage

|

The Walt Disney World Railroad is barreling along to an undisclosed opening date, and we spotted some testing this afternoon at Magic Kingdom, including a passage through the tunnel that runs under the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction.

We’ll start with a look at the train as it was parked at the Main Street station. There were dozens of Cast Members riding when we stopped to take a photo.

We then made our way over to Tomorrowland to check out the latest progress on the TRON Lightcycle Run when we spotted the train passing through the tunnel that runs beneath the entrance walkway to the attraction and a portion of the roller coaster itself.

Finally, we spotted the #2 train at the Fantasyland station before it made its way to the backstage barn in the early afternoon.

Disney World has not announced a reopening date for the Walt Disney World Railroad, but it looks like we’re weeks, not months, away from its highly anticipated reopening.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
