As Disney prepares to open TRON Lightcycle Run on April 4, 2023, they have announced that there will be a “pop-up shop” where guests can buy merchandise on opening day. The long-term plan for TRON merchandise will be to use the Tomorrowland Launch Depot, but it sounds like it may not be ready for opening day, or Disney anticipates high crowds and will be offering merchandise at the pop-up shop. So where is this pop-up shop?

Disney says that the TRON merchandise pop-up shop will be “directly across from the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor entrance in Tomorrowland”. If we take the description literally, that means that the pop-up shop will take over either the stroller parking outside of Stitch’s Great Escape, or perhaps even the indoor queue area of the former attraction.

Disney has previously utilized the space for a Stitch meet and greet as well as for special event photo-ops. For all of the work that Disney has put into Tomorrowland, they have not announced any plans for the abandoned attraction.
