Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios have received a push notification via the My Disney Experience app, apologizing that Fantasmic! will not be performed tonight. The notification is a bit odd given that the show is not closed unexpectedly, but instead closed tonight and tomorrow for planned maintenance. Nonetheless, Hollywood Studios VP Jackie Swisher sent the following message to guests visiting the park.
On behalf of the entire team at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I apologize that there will be no performance of Fantasmic! tonight. We are sorry you are not able to experience the show today. I hope you will enjoy some of our other entertainment offerings during your time with us in the park.

Let this show perform on the park’s 35th anniversary next year, because it can’t be closed for every year on the anniversary of the park(on May 1st) since 2020(when the parks were closed during that time) and when the show was on hiatus in 2021 and last year
