A new entertainment role quietly returned to Magic Kingdom recently with the return of the Grand Marshal banner carriers as part of the Festival of Fantasy pre-parade offering. The Grand Marshal pre-parade runs about 15-20 minutes before the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and contains lucky guests who are randomly selected to welcome the Festival of Fantasy Parade to Magic Kingdom.

Recently, the role of banner carrier was restored to the Grand Marshal pre-parade and with the return of the role, Disney World dropped the male-only requirement for Cast Members. Here’s a look at the return of the Grand Marshal pre-parade banner carriers!
