Frontierland Sign Returns After Nearly Two Years Missing (Frontierland Saved!)

|

Well, it’s a saga that nobody asked for, but a saga nonetheless. We can finally wrap up our coverage of the missing Frontierland signs now that the second sign has returned. In case you weren’t following this nearly as closely as we were (you probably weren’t, and for good reason), one of the Frontierland signs went missing in August 2023. It didn’t seem like a big deal at first, but with the future of Frontierland seemingly up in the air for a little while there, we started to wonder if the lack of a sign was, itself, a sign. Now, we can put it all to rest as the Frontierland sign has returned.

Frontierland Sign Returns After Nearly Two Years

While visiting Magic Kingdom recently, we noticed that the long-missing Frontierland sign has returned. The sign looks to be refreshed, which is the least you could hope for after it went missing for two years. With the restoration of the Frontierland sign, we’re happy to declare that Frontierland has been saved – if you don’t count the demolition of the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island, of course.

Here’s a look at the sign, which looks nice and fresh. Hopefully, the Florida sun doesn’t take too long to weather it, making it look like it actually belongs in Frontierland.
