As Disney World continues to adjust Disney Genie+ pricing, they introduced a new price point today of $24. While this is a new price point for Walt Disney World, it’s still well below the all-time high at Walt Disney World of $35 during a busy Spring Break period in early April.
Disney World introduced variable pricing for the Disney Genie+ skip-the-line service back in October 2022 and prices have averaged just below $22 since then, with a range of $15 to $35.
The Disney Genie+ skip-the-line service replaced FastPass+ and has brought in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for the Disney Parks division over the past few years. In addition to the Disney Genie+ “buffet” skip-the-line service, you can purchase “a la carte” Individual Lightning Lane attractions to skip the line at an eligible attraction.
Disney has announced that changes are coming to the Disney Genie+ service in 2024 and promised more details at a later date as part of a new consumer-focused approach to running its theme parks.
