UPDATE (11am): Walt Disney World has quietly removed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure from the list of attractions that will be open during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the My Disney Experience app. It’ll probably be open during the event, but all official mentions have been removed. Dates and details have been announced for 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, including a list of attractions that will be open during the event. We’ll have a full list when we publish the event guide shortly, but in the meantime, there is a bit of news coming from the attraction lineup (maybe).
On the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event page on the Disney World website, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not currently listed as an available attraction during the party. However, on the My Disney Experience app, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is listed as an available attraction.
It’s not clear which piece of information is correct, but if we had to guess, we’d guess that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We’ve reached out to Disney World for clarification.
What remains to be seen is how access to the attraction will be handled. While we anticipate a Virtual Queue to be available during normal park hours, it’s sort of a coin toss on whether or not Disney World would utilize it during a special event. At last year’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, TRON Lightcycle Run was behind a Virtual Queue during the party, but at this year’s Disney After Hours event, it was available as standby.
Walt Disney World has not announced an official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure yet, but it will seemingly be open before August 9th.
