According to a Disney Auditions casting call, Disney World is seeking performers to portray Bruno from Encanto.
SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLE:
Bruno: 5’6″ – 5’9″, athletic build, with an expressive, careful, and selfless personality. From the animated film, Encanto.
While Bruno has previously met with guests at the Disneyland Resort, there is still not an official Encanto meet and greet at Walt Disney World…yet. Following rumors, Disney World confirmed that an Encanto meet and greet featuring Mirabel would be coming to Magic Kingdom.
So, when and where could guests spot Bruno at Walt Disney World? Our best guess would be at the Mirabel meet and greet later this year. That said, Disney has teased “ghoulish new faces” in the Boo-To-You Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year. We think that adding Bruno to the parade might be a long shot given the fact that he’s not really a villain, although he is somewhat portrayed as one before being better understood by his family.
Bruno could also be slated to join the extensive lineup of meet-and-greet characters during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but Disney World hasn’t announced anything yet.
Either way, one thing is for sure – Disney World is currently casting for performers to portray Bruno in the theme parks. Hopefully, we’ll have more to talk about soon!
