There is one less physically distanced encounter at Walt Disney World with the reopening of the Winnie the Pooh meet & greet space in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT. Winnie the Pooh is, once again, meeting in Christopher Robin’s room at the back of the UK pavilion after years of a physically distanced encounter near the Imagination Pavilion following the COVID-19 reopening protocols put in place in Summer 2020.
We made it out to EPCOT today to meet with Pooh Bear on his first day back! There is no signage announcing his meet and greet, but if you take the brick pathway to the back of the pavilion, you can find the queue for Pooh under an awning in the far corner of the courtyard. Here’s a look.
The queue is completely outdoors and wasn’t too long when we visited today. Inside, guests step into Christopher Robin’s room to meet Winnie the Pooh! The meet and greet was shuttered for years before reopening in late 2019 only to be shut down again in 2020. Cast Members at the location say that the plan is to keep Winnie the Pooh here for the foreseeable future.
