Welcome to a new year, and a new price point for the Disney Genie+ skip-the-line service at Walt Disney World. It’s fitting that our first article of 2024 is about Genie+, which we expect to go through quite a few changes this year as Disney continues to change the service based on guest feedback.
With the turn of the page to 2024, peak week is starting to wind down as crowds start to disperse back across America after visiting Walt Disney World during the busiest week of the year. The new year also offers Disney World the opportunity to try a new price point for the Disney Genie+ service. Here’s the latest!
New Price Point for Genie+
Three of the four Disney World theme parks have an all-new price point today. Magic Kingdom and the “multiple parks” option have been priced at $35 before, but the other three options are at all-new prices, and even offered at a bit of a discount when compared to historical prices. Here’s a look at today’s pricing, with the historical pricing for the $35 towline price in parenthesis:
- Multiple Parks | $35
- Magic Kingdom | $35
- EPCOT | $25 (usually $28)
- Hollywood Studios | $30 (usually $32)
- Animal Kingdom | $20 (usually $25)
As you can see, some parks received a higher “discount” than others. As far as changes in 2024, we expect that Disney World will announce a pre-purchase option that will likely allow you to select a few rides ahead of your visit. Will we see the return of the attraction tier system in 2024? Only time will tell!
