While visiting EPCOT today, we stopped by the CommuniCore Plaza entertainment venue to take a look at the latest progress. As a reminder, this venue will host an Encanto-themed show this summer, but it will be a flex space for entertainment and parties throughout the year. As a reminder, CommuniCore Plaza, CommuniCore Hall, and the Mickey & Friends meet and greet will open on June 10th!
We’ll start with a look at the CommuniCore Plaza outdoor entertainment venue from the ground before taking to the highway in the sky for an elevated look at the plaza from the monorail. Here’s a look around!
Astroturf is a new addition to the area. It will be very interesting to see how an outdoor show does, in the summer, in a venue with almost no shade.
