Crews are busy basically rebuilding the feature fountain in the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT, and construction walls have recently shifted and scaffolding removed as work continues. We made it out to EPCOT recently to check in on the work, which has been ongoing since mid-March.

Morocco Fountain Refurbishment

Since our last update, construction walls have enveloped more of the courtyard, and a peek at the work shows that crews are working to refurbish the feature fountain in the courtyard. Here’s a look at what the courtyard typically looks like (circa 2020), followed by photos from our recent visit.

Work on the plaza and fountain last took place three years ago in May 2021. Here’s a look at the recent construction.

A narrow walkway is open to the back of the Pavilion

Scaffolding and scrims have been removed from the Bab BoujouLoud facade. It doesn’t look like much work has taken place on the actual facade, especially the reverse of the facade, which has missing tiles and doesn’t look like a recently refurbished structure.

The Gallery of Arts & History remains open to guests via a side door near the Kidcot stop.
