Somehow, Canada Pavilion construction walls have returned. As you may remember, construction walls surrounded the Hotel du Canada structure for 8 months, from June 2023 through February 2024. During that time, the facade of the faux hotel was repainted and repaired. Construction walls came down in February of this year, and it looked like construction was complete. Now, construction progress walls have returned.
Hotel du Canada Refurbishment Continues
While visiting EPCOT recently, we noticed that the construction walls have been installed, and a ground-level door was open.
Inevitably, chatter will begin that the former La Boutique des Provinces shop is getting ready to reopen, and painters tape on the door with the word “refurbish” on it will not quell those rumors, but we’re not sure if the tape is referencing the door or the shop inside. If we had to guess, the shop indoors is being refurbished to reopen sometime this year.
It seems impossible that we have construction walls around the hotel again, but as I always like to say “nothing’s impossible”.

Canada Far and Wide remains open to guests, and is accessible via a ground-level walkway to the right of the hotel (as was the case during the previous refurbishment).
A portion of the overlook remains open to guests, but the entire upper plaza at the Canada Pavilion is behind construction walls.
