With construction walls now installed in DinoLand USA for the first phase of the reimagining of the land into a Tropical Americas-themed area, a new park map has reflected the recent closures. Here’s a look!
New Animal Kingdom Park Map (January 2025)
The new Animal Kingdom park map features a tiger on the front cover, replacing an image of guests riding Expedition Everest from the May 2024 park map.
Beyond the new image, the front of the map contains a few changes as information is shuffled around and different offerings are highlighted. Here are the changes that we noticed:
- Rafiki’s Planet Watch now highlighted
- Bigger focus on shows
- Bigger focus on animal trails
- Dedicated sections for Tusker House and Tiffins Restaurant
- New images for the dedicated information sections
On the inside of the map, the biggest change is that the map has been updated to reflect the phase one closure of the Dino-Rama section of DinoLand USA. A good chunk of the land is now “green space”, which translates to “backstage areas” – in this case, a construction zone for an all-new Encanto-themed attraction. Here’s a closer look!
