Two Walt Disney World-owned and operated buses appear to have collided this morning. The collision took place along Buena Vista Drive, near Disney’s Riviera Resort. Both buses appear to have been in the left turn lane to head down Victory Way toward Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here’s what we know.

Bus vs Bus Crash at Walt Disney World

The crash took place earlier this morning, and both buses were in the process of being removed from the roadway when we arrived.

It looks like the Mickey Mouse bus rear-ended the Minnie Mouse bus ahead of it. The crash caused some significant damage to the front of the Mickey bus. It looks like the windshield fell out, among other internals.

The Minnie Mouse bus suffered some damage to the rear of the vehicle. It looks like the Mickey Mouse bus suffered most of the damage.

Walt Disney World has not returned a request for comment about the incident. It is unknown if there were guests on board the bus or if there were any injuries.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated if we learn more about the incident.
