Disney Starlight Parade Drops Down to One Performance Per Night Starting Early 2026

|

According to the Walt Disney World website, the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade will drop down to just one performance per night starting in early 2026. This marks a shift in operating schedule from the twice-nightly performances that have been on the books since the parade debuted back in July. Here’s a look at what guests can expect.

Disney Starlight Parade Drops to One Performance Per Night

The Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade has been entertaining guests since its debut back in July. Typically, the parade is performed twice per evening at Magic Kingdom on non-event nights (read: not on nights with a Christmas or Halloween Party). However, that looks like it’s about to change.

Walt Disney World has released the Disney Starlight parade schedule for early January 2026, and the parade is only scheduled to be performed once per night on select dates. Here’s a look:

  • January 1-3 | 7:45pm and 10:30pm
  • January 4-5 | 7:45pm and 10:00pm
  • January 6-8 | 7:45pm only
  • January 9-10 | 7:45pm and 10:00pm

The schedule is only posted through January 10th, but it is notable that guests visiting Magic Kingdom from January 6th through January 8th will only have one opportunity to view the Disney Starlight parade.

This would be the first time that the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade is scheduled for a single performance per night. From the outside looking in, that either represents an expected dip in attendance or a website glitch. We’ll have to see if Walt Disney World makes any further adjustments to the entertainment schedule as we get closer to the start of 2026.

For now, we’d expect that guests will find larger-than-normal crowds on evenings with only one showing. Typically, the second showing is much easier to view than the first, but with only one performance per night on select nights, we’d expect that single performance to be extra busy.
